The crocodile Farm’s greenhouses are designed to recreate the natural habitats of their hosts : crocodiles, turtles and tortoises, snakes, fishes and birds. They host more than 600 variety of plants, often belonging to rare and surprising species. This great flora enables use to raise public awareness about global biodiversity of ecosystems.
Naturally, tropical plants show little resistance to cold temperature. They usually start suffering below 15°C. Therefore, our glasshouses is always maintained around 25°C and strictly monitored to allow to offer our plants and trees optimal development conditions.
While going around our glasshouse, one can discover a few remarkable plants species such as Aristolochia vines, Bougainvillea, Ylang Ylang or the Saint Jean’s vine.
